Aruba's public beach access law means every beach on the island, including Eagle Beach and Palm Beach, is free to visit. Add in the island's natural landmarks and cultural sites, and there's a genuinely full vacation to be had without spending much at all.
Beaches that cost nothing
Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, Baby Beach, and Arashi Beach are the headline spots, but Boca Catalina and Malmok Beach offer excellent shore snorkeling with far fewer crowds, all free and open to anyone.
Natural landmarks
The Natural Pool, locally called Conchi, requires a hike or off road drive through Arikok National Park but is free once you're there. Alto Vista Chapel and the boulder formations at Casibari and Ayo round out the island's free scenic stops.
Culture without a ticket
Downtown Oranjestad's colonial architecture, weekly markets, and Fort Zoutman cost nothing to walk through, and locals are generally happy to share a bit of Papiamento or a story about island traditions if you ask.
Free things to do after dark
Sunset gatherings form naturally at Eagle Beach and the California Lighthouse, many hotels host open air cultural performances that welcome non guests, and light pollution is low enough island wide for genuinely good stargazing.
