Why mornings work so well
Cooler temperatures mean more active birds, calmer water for reflections, and fewer tourists on the beach. The eastern light naturally lights the flamingos as they feed along the western shoreline.
Blue hour, if you want something different
The 20 to 30 minutes right after sunset produce moody, saturated color and even lighting that suits silhouettes and longer exposures, a good option if you already have your golden hour shots.
What to avoid
Midday between 11 AM and 2 PM washes out color and creates harsh shadows. Overcast skies flatten the light entirely, and windy conditions kill the water reflections that make these photos special.
